Improve strength, agility and aerobic fitness

Women’s Outdoor Fitness is a class for women of all ages and fitness abilities - you need to be 6/12 post-natal with no pelvic floor or tummy muscle issues. (Please get in touch if you feel you have pelvic floor/tummy muscle issues that are impeding your return to exercise as I can help you with this in an alternative class).

The class is one hour and incorporates the use of various pieces of equipment eg kettlebells, pads/gloves, battlerope, exercise bands and body weight to provide a session that will improve your strength, agility and aerobic fitness making you stronger, fitter and faster. This class is perfect as a general keep fit session and also ideal as a cross training session to complement other sports.

The session provides a friendly, non-threatening environment to exercise with an atmosphere of encouragement and motivation.

FAQs

  • Who is this class suitable for?

    This class is for any woman that is beyond 6 months postnatal with no pelvic floor or abdominal muscle separation (diastasis).  All ages and abilities are welcome. 

  • Do you meet in all weathers?

    Generally yes!  We will still be there in the rain but if there are strong winds check out Facebook/Instagram for class cancellations.  Class will also be cancelled if there are snowy and icy conditions. 

  • What does the class involve?

    The class works on strength, agility and aerobic fitness with the use of body weight and various bits of equipment.  You can work at whatever level suits you but you will be encouraged and motivated to progress as much as possible.
